México llega a las 161 mil 240 defunciones a causa del Covid-19: Ssa

En México se acumularon 161 mil 240 muertes confirmadas por Covid-19, lo que representa mil 707 nuevas defunciones reportadas esta noche.

Esta cifra es una de las más altas luego de que el 21 de enero se reportaran mil 803 nuevos fallecimientos, que hasta ahora ha sido el máximo alcanzado para un día.

En conferencia, el director general de epidemiología, José Luis Alomía, mencionó que se estima que ya habría 2 millones 82 mil 399 casos confirmados de coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

Sin embargo, mencionó que se observa un comportamiento descendente de la epidemia.

Del total de casos estimados, solo 80 mil 941 representan la epidemia activa, equivalentes a 4 por ciento.

En materia de hospitalización general, José Luis Alomía aseguró que se observa una disminución y estabilización en la Ciudad de México y el Estado de México, pues la semana pasada se ubicaban en niveles cercanos a 90 por ciento, y ahora están en 83 por ciento.
